Brighter Choice Charter School for Girls

The Brighter Choice Charter School for Girls opened in September 2002 and is located in Albany, New York.  Brighter Choice was one of the first schools to adopt The RULER Approach.

It offers a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. school day, a year-round school calendar, expert teachers in core academic subjects, a classical liberal arts education, an enriched visual and performing arts curriculum, the use of original historical documents to teach American history, computers in every classroom, school uniforms, and a unique single-sex public school environment. The Brighter Choice Charter Schools currently serve 240 students each in grades K through 4. To stay current, Brighter Choice continues to host Emotional Literacy Refresher Courses.
