The RULER Approach, developed by researchers at Yale University, is an evidence-based social and emotional learning program dedicated to enriching the lives of educators, students, and families.

Emotional Literacy for School Leaders is an evidence-based, highly interactive training program that provides school leaders with a unique blend of science and practice to become more effective leaders and implementers of The RULER Approach. In the training, leaders hone their RULER skills and also learn how to develop a long-term plan for sustaining emotional literacy in their school or district. Superintendents, principals, and other administrators are encouraged to attend.

This program includes:

  • A step-by-step process for implementing and sustaining RULER
  • Training and coaching with program developers and senior consultants
